Exif Data now shows in the Gallery

Ian has managed to sort out the problem with Photo Exif info not showing in the Gallery, and it has now been switched on. If your upload contains Exif info then it will be automatically read. Any existing photos on the gallery will not show the data. Here is an example of what it shows

How do you ensure that our upload contains EXIF information Stephen?

Err, should that be a we Audrey. If so, I imagine that unless you use Save for Web then your photo will still have the Exif data

OK. How does one?

Yes I save for web, so I guess that it why it is not there.

So what way would you suggest I prepare my pictures to include the Exif data?

In PS I fit the image to the required size and then Save for Web to adjust to the resolution required.

Using Save for Web strips out the Exif Data. However if you want to retain this then you will have to resize using the Image Size command, then simply Save As, and reduce the compression to the appropriate level.
