    Hi
I have a small problem, any advce would be welcome.
I use Mozilla Firefox and when I view the gallery the random images which should be displayed are not. Everything else is fine. If I log in using IE the images are displayed OK. I have checked my setting in mozilla and can't see anything amiss.
    any ideas please!

Hi Martin, I use a FF derivative called Flock, and coincidentally I switched off the Random images column this morning, just to see the effect on the page layout. There is an UP/DOWN arrow as you will know. However when I looked later this arrow had disappeared and I couldn't switch it back on.

The solution for me appears to have been to clear all Cookies in the Tools>Options>Privacy appelet. Close the browser and reopen. You could also clear viewing History too in case that has any bearing any on it. Anyway the Random Images column is back on now with the arrow

I usually use IE (both 6 and 7 and the moment) but am logged in currently with FireFox 2.0.0.1 and all appears fine. I'm using Windows - could you be using a Mac or Linux and/or an older version of FireFox?

A mere coincidence but I am having a trouble with my IE7 on XP right now. It looks like I did something wrong with CCleaner (a freeware -cookie ,history and temporary internet files etc cleaner i downloaded last month and used for the first time a few hours ago for fun). Every time I open IE7, it disconnects me automatically.

Using a software homepage, i downloaded Firefox right now. I deleted IE7 once and downloaded it once again using Firefox but even the newly downloaded IE7 does not work properly on my pc anymore, either. Some registries might have been altered and lost Maybe I have to learn about Firefox. A fortunate that I could recall the name Firefox as another alternative - I learned about it at DPNow but had no interest until today.

well, i wanted to say, it's version 2.0.0.1 and looks like working propely at the gallery's random exhibition. Hope this upload test also works fine.

Sorry to hear your problems, Yoshi. Not sure what you mean about 'upload test' but I see your message above normally

              Hi Ian
Stephen solved it for me. I use a PC but my version of FF 1.5.0.9. Checking for updates says none available but fails to tell you about version 2. I shall have a look at it.

I use CCleaner fequently and as far as I know it has not caused me any problems.

Hi Martin, thanks. I can guess I did something wrong but at the moment no specific idea what it was. Maybe I should have read a magazine once more before running the program. I learned about the software in a magazine i bought before but cannot find where the magazine is now.
Is there any tips for using CCleaner properly?

                    Hi Yoshi

CC seems so simple I just tick most of the boxes and let it get on with it. Hopefully getting rid of stuff that is not needed.

On the advanced selection I tick the Prefetch data,Tray notf. cache and IIs log files.

The program was recomended by an IT journalist in The daily Telegraph

                    Best Wishes

                      Re: Mozilla Firefox

Thanks a lot for it Martin. The link article was interesting and I also found a link to CC. I think I should have read the "quick tour" before running it. Somehow i do not see a link on the program page to this tutorial article. It helps a lot for the next running.

Out of the top 10 freewares listed there I found I have four, though Im not necessarily inclined to download more. Looking forward however to the next Telegraph article about this. Thanks again.
