Digital Holga?

There is an interesting thread over at our Four Thirds Use forum:

There, Robert has mated a plastic Holga lens to his Olympus Pen to produce the characteristic 'Holga' lens effect in mono. I argued that this can be applied to what was originally a sharp and well-exposed image without the need to stick a 'bad' lens on your camera. Here's what I came up with:

Didn't realise the original was a family group, when I saw it on FB.

Google Picasa has some "filters" that produce Holga and other such effects. Considering the gross reduction in IQ it may well be quicker and easier to use such programs rather than expensive editors.

Maybe time to play with the comparison of the effects producers available from all these programs.
