Self Portrait

This is a little self indulgent but I thought it was quite effective. The mosaic was created using a mac program I saw used on another site. Seeing as the prog was free I thought I'd give it a go. The individual images are all from images I dump in my screensaver folder. There are some 600+ photos in the folder so as the grid is 40x40 the pics are used more than once. I then converted to mono in Photoshop, so no single image caught the attention too much.

Very clever Stephen. I wonder how it knows where to put the light and shade?

Is it possible to zoom into each individual phot at its highest resolution?

I suppose it would be Ben, if it was created big enough. However I don't feel its ideal to be able to do that. Also you will notice that each image is a square format, so there is some cropping going on. If you were to get a really big print made from one, it may be interesting to see the result.
