  • Megan lady in the park

I love shooting head shots so when I shot with Megan last weekend I just knew I wanted this shot. All natural light and shot at F1.2 with the Fuji XT1 and the Fuji 56mm lens.

Perfect hat for the B&W style, and I like the way the background graduates from light to dark.

Yes. That is a real shame.

As a long term follower of dpnow. I always enjoyed seeing your work, and often check your flickr photos.
So it's a shame to see you not do much now.

All the above have already said it..........
I like this shot. Great contrast.

Now I'm confused - you seem to have done a fair bit with all that flashy (pardon the pun!) new gear I've seen on Facebook

Maybe I should have said not much that I feel like posting as they are not always my best. The new flashy thing is a Godox 600 monolight. This now works with the Fuji in ttl and best of all hss which was missing from the Fuji system and the only thing I found that let it down.

As you also know I am finding hard to find people to shoot with at the moment. I have been let down not only by the great British weather of late but also a few people I am trying to put that right and hope to have something wort posting over the next few weeks as I am now on my holidays I will put a quick post up with a few that I have shot in the last few weeks just testing out the new gear
