        Thanks Guys

It was more about the colour to be truthful but I do like b/w which is strange because I was never a fan a few years ago. I like the drama it air of mystery it can add to photos.

Ha ha & phew, I was thinking after I posted the comment that I hoped you would not take offence! I like to comment and can't help the harmless banter

Just had a quick look at your flikr and there is some lovely shots on there, I do prefer the colour shot's in this instance as that dress just pops!

I like both sets but the coloured ones shine.

You have some pretty good images on flickr Peter.

lol I knew you were only joking Ash. Yes I have always been a fan of red in my photos to the point of even having a few red dresses of my own for photo shoots. Hope that does not sound weird . It was not the shoot I was hoping for as there was not enough leaves on the ground as I had hoped for but it was still fun and a good last one to have on the 5d. Also a nice way to end my hobby

Thanks Barr1e and thanks for looking around my flickr, its still nice to know people are looking

                      Hi Ash

Yes I am no longer shooting. I sold all my gear at the end of last year. Its a long story but most of it is posted in this thread that I posted last year when I popped in to say thanks to Ian for running such a great site and to everyone else who makes this site what it is http://dpnow.com/forum2/showthread.php?t=15722

The last few photos on my flickr site of the cats, camera bag and one of my sons where taken on a Fuji xe-1 that someone lent me for a week over my christmas hols just to play around with. So yes for now that is the end of my photo hobby.

                          Hi Ian

Well you know the saying "never say never again" well I could well be going on a shoot later in the year with a few guys and a couple of models in the same place as I shot this with Emily a few years ago.

If I do you can be sure I will post them here Not sure what I will be shooting with mind you could well be my camera phone seeing as I no longer have any gear. I must say that Fugi I used was a cracking camera once I got the hang of it. It only had what I take to be the kit lens 18-55 I think it was but did make cracking photos

I felt like this about 4 years ago, sold my d700 as fast as it took me to decide I wanted one! Stuck in a rut wanting my photography to go places without a plan or money to take it to the next level, very frustrating, but sometimes it takes drastic measures to mull thing's over and to gain a fresh perspective on life itself and what you actually want.

That's just how I feel. Two reasons as I had posted in the other thread are why but I still love looking at photos and reading about them Also still buying two mags a month to keep and eye on what is out there and to see what is coming on to market
