This is a local ruin in my area, I would be grateful of feedback on tone and light etc as I struggle when it comes to some conversions, possibly a little to gentle with the contrast. Is my monitor as was suggested if so anyone know a free calibrator

Hi Mike, the first thing that I noticed is that the top of the tower is blurred? I can't obviously see why that should be?

Come on Mike, what have you don here?

This blurring is quite curious as the rest of the shot seems sharp enough.

                Hi Mike,

In your post you asked about free calibration tools, and here are a couple of things that may interest you.
The first is the Monitor Calibration Wizard from HERE
The other is HERE which has a very useful gray scale, at 1024 x 768 or 1280 x 1024, if you have doubts about your monitor contrast level.
