First i need to say i hope i got this right, my filing system failed me so i had no file numbers to ensure i had the correct image, used the zoom tools in photoshop

How was this done? (The fish looks like it's posing...). And is that a carp?

Yes common carp. Effect is done by PhotoFunia a web site that has 1000s of effects you can apply to your images. Free to use too. https://photofunia.com/
