  • Epson r2880 printing problem (with picture)

    Hi all,

I am printing on an epson r2880. I am selecting borderless and picking the right paper size but am only getting borderless on 3 sides when printing from cs4 or pe6 or lightroom. It is always the trailing edge that has the problem. Picture is below.

I do know that all the pictures I have tried print borderless on the r1800. And late last night did print borderless on the r2880 as well but then went back to the strip!!

Can anyone help this is driving me nuts.

    Thanks

    Josh

    Hi Josh,

May be a silly question, but are your failed prints in the same ratio as the paper? For example - you can't print a 10 x 8 borderless on A4 paper, there will always be a white strip left over on one of short sides.

      Hi

What I do know is that this picture prints borderless on 4 sides at A3 from an epson R1800 and has also done so on the R2880 but it then goes back to having this strip.

      Best Regards

Just a question Josh. Is all the picture printed, although the wrong size, or is there a bit missing where the white stripe is?

          hi

when I compare the print with the strip vs the full print with no strip then there is a bit of the pciture missing. I would say from the sides as well.

          Best Regards
