Re: So, What Can I Buy With..............
I have the Epson R2400, a really super printer and will print top quality B/W pictures (It has three shades of black ink) the R1800 although excelent wont give as good B/W prints as the 2400, in fact only printers of any make that have multiple black inks fitted will satisfy the dedicated B/W worker.
That is not to say it doesn't give good B/W results it does, just not quite good enough for the B/W enthusiast.
If B/W image printing isn't an issue then go for the R1800.
The 2400 is more expencive but if you shop around the on line traders, Amazon and so forth it can be purchased within your budget, Just.

Hello Patrick and thank you for the reply.
I will be printing in black and white so I will look at the 2400.
I have noticed some printers have a 'black only' feature. Would this be something to look for when buying my printer?
Thanks.

I think you will enjoy it.
If you want help setting up the B/W feature send me an email through the forum and I will do all I can to help.
Just to go back to paper I still use cheaper paper for the mundane day to day stuff or proofing, I only get out the best when I am printing for exhibition or something important.

Re: So, What Can I Buy With..............
Well done
I noticed when I looked on the Amazon site their price for Epson ink for the R2400 was very good.
Did you buy a spare set by any chance?
PC world are offering a buy one get one half price that makes them competitive at the moment as well.
