If you aren't entirely satisfied with the results you get from your ink-jet photo printer or just want to become more ambitious with your photo printing, this is the tutorial series for you. Part 1 covers the basics of ink-jet printing and de-mystifies image pixels and printer dots.
If you have read the first part of this article and have something to say - here's where to do it!

I'm sure many will find this very useful. It's the sort of thing they may like to print and keep. Could you enable a printer friendly version so that only the text is printed.

I think the pictures are integral with the text, Ron. The pages will print OK off the web browser too.

OK so I must be doing it wrong. I'm getting DPNow header and all the other stuff, plus only part of the article is printing as it's all too wide for my paper. How do I just print the article?

Looks neat enough in my print preview - it runs to 3 sheets of A4.
Alternatively, select the whole body text, with images and paste into a text-only editor, like notepad.
Re: The DPNow guide to better photo printing, Part 1
Try clicking on the start of the text you wish to print, hold the mouse button down, and move the cursor to the bottom of the browser window so that all the text is progressively highlighted.
Release the mouse button.
Select 'Print'
Select the radio button for 'Print selection'

That should work.

Thanks Roger just tried that and still getting the same result. Must be my setup. I always have this problem except for web sites that have a printer friendly button. It was worth a try anyway. Cheers.
