I'm in total shock at seeing the comments on Dave's facebook page today. I'm unsure if anyone has already posted this sad and shocking news but one of the posts read ... David's funeral service will be at noon on Wednesday December 9th at Christ Church in Seaham. David is at the Haswells Chapel of Rest at 18 Queen Alexandra Road, Dawndon Seaham.

I knew Dave wasn't a well man but he was always joking around. A very sad time for his family and my thoughts are with them

I am really shocked. Dave frequently PMd me and I feel very very sad that I wont be hearing from him again. He always had such a positive attitude.

I have been out since 7AM and only just returned. Julia texted me the sad news earlier. Dave has been a DPNow forum and gallery member for two and half years and posted over 400 times. I used one of his pictures (recommended by Pol) to symbolise Remembrance last month. I had no idea that his health had deteriorated, though his last post on the forum was back in the beginning of October, welcoming another new member.

May I add my condolences to Dave's family and friends - such sad news. Thanks Gina for letting us know. A brave man of such relative young years. I'm sure Dave will be sorely missed.
