Come to Oklahoma! Enjoy or four season climate!
We got a total of 15" of ice and snow overnight, a new record storm total. Everything is shut down, including the major highways. So I'm reading the latest Ludlum paperback. I know I should be out shooting, because there are some really interesting subjects with combination of precipitation and the winds -- we were under a blizzard warning. But our 2 Bichons think the snow was put there for them, and they [I]love[I] breaking trail, even when only their noses can get above the snow. So we are at home, reading, watching the dogs play, and trying to warm them enough to get the ice out of their coats when they come inside.
Last summer we didn't have many 100+ temps, but this has been our second driest year on record.
Autumn leaves were spectacular! But the windstorm on about the third day after peak changed it to mainly bleak.
And in the spring, we get live TV of the thunderstorms, hail, and tornadoes. (Our storms come mainly in the late evening when it's dark, so radar is a life saver.)
So we have all 4 seasons, just sometimes too much weather.
