My wife and daughter have just got back from taking part in the first race of the year, which took place this morning at Burleigh House, Stamford.
It was VERY WET! so I didn't get too many shots, but here's one of the start of the race, in the pouring rain. (My wife and daughter aren't in this shot - they were a bit further back behind the 'serious' runners!)
A great event, well worth supporting.
My family did it in memory of my mother-in-law and father-in-law who we lost to cancer in the last two years. Horible disease but together we can beat it.
Sunday 28th June is our big day - fingers crossed for the weather. A big thank you to those who have already sponsored Lara and me. Anyone else still thinking about it please dig deep, every penny counts, for this very good cause.
