China GP rerun

I'm glad I recorded the "live" race to watch and didn't rely on the rerun.

The rerun started some 9 laps into the race. At the end of the live run, because it overran the commentator promised we'd get the press conference in the rerun - but we didn't!

Come on BBC, this is real shoddy showing! Either give the rerun enough time, or don't bother showing it at all. Anyone who missed the live showing with the intent of watching the rerun would have been sorely disappointed. I tuned into the rerun especially for the promised press conference. What a waste of time that was because they didn't show it.

Still, it was a great race for those who did watch the live version.

seems the BBC don't have any contingency if it over-runs. 2 races now that have pretty much taken the full 2hrs. if button had won i think we'd have seen the interview. won't pluralise it as i'm sure they'd cut after JB had said his first piece.

having said that, the amount of coverage (free practice etc) we are getting is great. we've already seen 3 complete races compared to the 2.5 we'd have had with the adverts

I've just checked the showing of Bahrain this Sunday.

The show starts at 12.10, race starts at 1pm, show ends at 3pm. So if we get another 2hr race, they're going to run out of time again.

When are the BBC going to learn?
