          Thank you all for your birthday wishes.

          The day went relatively well with a late breakfast (Ian cooked as usual), the washing, vaccuuming and tidying Lara's room (she is rather untidy).

          The evening was better when Ian took me to a lovely Japanese restaurant.

          My birthday weekend was rounded off nicely with visits from various family members on Sunday.

          All-in-all a good weekend.
