  • Westfield Mall - Warning

As promised from my First Santa thread a report and pix.

Westfield Mall recently opened it doors at White City - London.

There are many shops and our experience of the centre met with our approval. We spent just over four hours (which included a stop for lunch 3/4 hour) before my knee gave way and we returned to the car.

Our parking charge for 4hours 30 minutes Jessops have a very nice store which is worth a visit - the staff were most pleasant.

Something for the boys and something for the girls.

A general view of a large complex on several floors - lots of loos and places to eat. I would have liked to have shown more but security were never far away.

4hrs Barrie? You are a better man than me, I can tell you
Seems like a lotta dosh to park at a Mall though. Our local one, which i rarely visit these days is 50p/hr The bigger ones like Meadowhall in Sheffield and the Trafford Centre in Manchester, have free parking.

Nice set of shots though, I take it you had no hassle from security jobsworths then?

        Hi Stephen -

        Thanks.

I was using the little Fuji F100fd - I'm sure if I were using the big'un it wouldn't have been long though. Security very discreet but they were there!
It was surprising how the time went - so many windows to look in and drool.

I think it will be a popular centre as so many shops are there (approx 150).

I have a list if anybody wishes to know if a certain company is represented.

I think the car parking charges are to make folk use public transport.

        Regards. Barr1e
