I Would Like To Say Thanks...

...this Sunday I reach another milestone in my life. I feel humbled that many of you are going to continue working to pay for my pension - thanks.

I thought perhaps I would make a video so many of you could see and hear me - and then I thought you would probably say silly old bu**er.

The three sites I mainly use are e-group + fourthirds-user and dpnow. I guess what I am really trying to say is thanks for your help, advice and information but most of all friendship - we all are so genuine - no fights and no trolls. Quite a credit.

So rather than a video of me here is one which I think covers what I feel.

You deserve a good rest and I have to agree with you about this forum, what a bl**dy nice bunch of grown ups we all are. I love everyone here, it's a good community and long may you and the forum continue to lift our spirits.

I would also like to say thanks to you Barrie for contributing towards my pension for the last 10 years. Cheer up mate, here's a couple of rib ticklers for you.

An Essex girl was driving down the A13 when her car phone rang. It was her
boyfriend, urgently warning her, 'Treacle, I just heard on the news that
there's a car going the wrong way on the A13. Please be careful!'

The Queen was on one of her visits to a town to open their new community hall. As she walked through the crowd she noticed a woman surrounded by children. The Queen stopped and enquired "are you a school teacher looking after all these children?" The woman replied "no Mum these are all my own children." The Queen then asked "how many do you have?" The woman replied "this little one in my arms is my 19th". The Queen was quite taken back then said "I will have to give your husband a knighthood" to which the woman replied. "His got one, but can't get him to ware it."
