Gutted about Silverstone going, but never say never as they say!
Great win for Hamilton, and well deservered in my view, he raced a blinder!
Yes it was a good drive. But what about the triathlon with button
Massa needs to learn how to drive at half throttle! 5 spins, very impressive!
Ok not one of his best drives I was shouting alot at the tv and some of it was not nice. I would like to know the real reason behind it as the car just did not seem drivable.
Good to see at least we will retain a Brit GP, lets just hope two years is enough for Donnington.
Two years is a long time if you have the money to throw at it and are not wasting time by having to find money then get to work.

I was surprised when they interviewed the CEO and he said -
In the context of the article (http://www.itv-f1.com/news_article.aspx?id=43261), it seems that they're trying to dismiss the idea that they have a single person bankrolling the revamp (hinted at being Eccleston himself!), but the phrase "I wish there was, and if there are any out there, please call!" sounds to me like they don't actually *have* the money yet.
Makes me question why Donington was favoured over Silverstone if Donington don't yet have the money and just offered paper promises. How is that any better than Silverstone?

It's a strange one.
Because they have been asking for years for Silverstone to invest in the circuite, and have not made all the changes requested in the time they requested it.
So I can kind of understand the decision.....even if I think it is a shame.
It will certainly be interesting to see what Donnington can do.

I thought Damon Hill said something along the lines of there having been quite some investment put into Silverstone recently. Maybe I got the wrong end of that, but if it's true it suggests that Silverstone were trying to do something. It almost feels like the rug was pulled out from under them all because of another track making promises without showing the reddies.
Personally, I'm not sure I'm all *that* bothered where the race is so long as we have one. They showed clips of such a race in Donington from back in 1993 - so it's not like it's unprecedented.
I guess I'm just naturally suspicious of everyone's motives.
