Thank you Jocelyn and Stephen for your kind thoughts. I now have a new driving license to go with my buss pass. Old age has it's good points.

A belated "Happy Birthday" from me also Ron. We too had our new bus passes this week. I wish I had taken my own photo, I think I would have made sure I looked better than I do.

I only have a buss pass in case I have a problem with the car. That way I know I can get home. When you turn 70 like I just did, they give you a new driving licence and the picture is in B&W. Makes me look even older.

We got our "Credit Card Style" driving licences a few years ago. My husband had a speeding fine on his and he wanted a "Clean Licence" again. They are very useful as ID's when abroad.

We haven't used the bus in years, but we might take a trip to Meadowhall on the train from Worksop - I believe it's half price. Anything has to be cheaper than petrol! Also if we take the car to Nottingham and park at the Park and Ride, we apparently can leave the car FOC if we show our bus passes, therefore, it saves on parking in the city. We will have to test it.
