3 part tv show called Picture This

I saw this in a tv guide that I picked up today. It starts this Sunday at 7pm on channel 4 and is on for 1 hour. This is what it says in the guide about the show.

Six unknown photographers compete for a major publishing deal plus the opportunity to have their work exhibited in a internationally renowned gallery. Each week the photographers are set a series of challenging assignments starting with taking portraits of each other.

I also hope its worth watching. I have set the dvd recorder for this weeks show. Its not often we get something like this on tv so lets hope its good.

Worked OK on my Virginmedia V+ Box Stuart. The whole series set to record, brilliant

I followed Stephen's example and upgraded to a Virgin V+ cable box recently. I set the recording and it invited me to record the series, no problems

The whole on-demand, high definition TV, cable/satellite technology thing is quite fascinating... though not entirely reliable as we've just today had our old box relocated to another part of the house but the engineer didn't test anything, so after he left we found our main TV (our only TV! - we don't have a TV where the old box is now located) box was no longer working... Virgin expect us to wait for a week to get it fixed

I loved the programme. I was dissapointed with the judges decision on kicking out the newbie though. I also felt that what the chap did with the sign was completely unethical.

Must admit I have not watched it yet . The lure of the Simpson's was to great and the wife is now watching the roadshow . I hope to watch it later on tonight.

I absolute agree with you. I thought that after having asked the parents for permission to photograph their children and them smilingly agreeing, to insert a placard inferring the children were on drugs, was like slapping them in the face.

If I had been the parents, I would be looking to take the matter further, because I am sure that had they known what he was going to do they would not have given their permission.

I enjoyed the programme, but didn't agree with the decision either.

Anyway, we shall see what happens next week.

Its my guess we haven't heard the last of it either.
The parents knowing about the program and then seeing what he has done will surly seek out advice.

I think if it was my little one, I would find out where he lived and have a quiet word in his shell like.....

Shame really, because I actually quite liked the chap, untill he pulled that stunt.

I would like to think that he got permission to add the sign, but in all honesty, who would give permission for someone to imply their youngsters were on crack?

I got around to watching this last night. I did like it and am also looking forward to next weeks show. I also think what that bloke did with the kids was well out of order. I was hoping that that young guy was going to get through to the next round as i liked the look of the stuff he was doing. i do plan to stick the whole thing on dvd so I can watch it again.

Yep saw it thought it was very good. The sign thing was very odd. Im not into people who shock just for shocks sake. Im sure the makers whould have got full permission from the people, it would have left them wide open in this day and age if they had not. The only other thing i spotted was the lack of use of lens hoods on a wet and windy day on the beach

This time I thought they were bang on with their decisions on who stayed and who went.

Me too Ben. It was interesting to hear how they were judging. I loved the children playing in the car park? at the Heathrow Protest and the manicure pic to name a couple but either of them could have been taken in my home town. The judges seemed to want something that spoke to them of the situation.
