Broadband TV

Probably behind the times, but until I read an email from a computer magazine, I'd never seen this:

Ok there's some rubbish on there, (let's face it, there's not a lot on terrestrial or satellite tv either) but found it quite interesting to be able to watch French TV as I'm reasonably fluent in the language and there's on Sky I can only watch TV5.

So - am I just behind the times (again )

The broadcast quality isn't very good, but I can see myself using it maybe at the office
