I think this is a real shame. I have never been to the circuit and by all accounts it's not a great place on the ground and access is awful, but the circuit itself produces some great racing because there are several really good overtaking points.

I went there two years ago. The track is in the middle of nowhere and maybe its not up to the standard of the newer tracks but Like you said it has had good races there. I also hope it does not end up in Paris do we really need another track with no overtaking. Can you also see the tie in with Disneyland. We would have mickey mouse walking the grid and then all those model cars with Disney characters in them .

Magny Cours,European GP,Spa been to these now one has gone one is in its last year and Spa was taken off last year. Makes me wonder if I should go to any more. Oh and have been to Silverstone and that is always under treat. Now what i was thinking is if anyone wants to send me to Monaco you know best seats, and best hotel and even meet the teams type of thing we may be able to get rid of this Mickey Mouse circuit.

I've watched F1 at Silverstone, Brands Hatch (that dates me!), Monaco and... (lucky me!) Suzuka. I'd really like to try some more circuits - one day!

Also been to a some of the club circuits: Castle Combe, Snetterton and Cadwell Park, plus Goodwood (though not on a racing day) and I can claim to have drive on part of the Le Mans circuit that is public road!

Good to see Spa coming back and I see that thare is a likelihood that Suzuka will be coming back in the guise of a second Japanese race, maybe called the Pacific GP.

Ian have you ever been to the tt. I will always be f1 first but I must say I find myself watching bikes more and more . This has made some of the people that I once worked with in stitches as they always told me bikes were better than the cars . One of the guys I worked with went every year. He would go for the full two weeks as he had a brother over there who would put him up. I also find myself looking at bike racing photos on the net, they seem to show so much action in them. I put it down to been able to see the whole rider.

It's funny but I started off liking bikes, but it was short-lived and the four-wheeled fascination has been with me ever since.

That said, The TT sounds like fun and I'd like to visit the Isle of Man.
