I hope that this is not too inappropriate and that Ian wont mind me posting here, but quite a few members of this site were originally members of Karl's Forums.

I know a lot of you were aware of his accident in February, but today I received an e mail linking me to this announcement:

This was up on Karl's Forums 29 May 11:28PM:

It was a tearfull time for all, even the ward sister and some of the nursing staff cried quietly. Karl had put up such a valiant fight but he was so tired

Karl will never be forgotten, he was that special sort of man, our thoughts must now be with Dot.

    Thank you all.

    Re: Sad News

Thanks for the info Audrey, it is indeed a sad event. I was in on the ground floor of his forums, and had many dealings with him personally, he was a good guy. I always felt though that the accident he had was going to leave him with a poor quality of life if he ever was to get out of hospital. He is no doubt in a better place now.

        Re: Sad News

I have to say that I wasn't aware of Karl and his forums, but I can gauge from the reactions here that he was a good guy and that's the best way to be remembered.
