  • Just popping in...

Just to let you all know (well anyone who's interested) that I have not done a runner, I have just been up to my eyeballs in all things baby as it's now only weeks away before I join the parent club.

Been painting Mr men, fitting a kitchen, tiling, going to baby shows, getting furniture for the nursery etc etc.

Won't be too long before I have some baby photo's to bore you all with

Anyway take care and see you all soon, no doubt I will be posting at daft o'clock after being woken by a screaming baby!

    Ta ra for now

My younger daughter's birthday (9th) is this Wednesday. I really miss the baby days... it's a great time of life and one that passes more quickly than you might realise; enjoy it while you can!

      I'll wholeheartedly agree with Ian...

Bumbly number one now lives in Strasbourg, Bumbly number two in Frankfurt so I don't see them very often.

But they'll be home for the first time since Christmas in 3 weeks (for Glastonbury - hope the weather's better then!) and I can't get any time off work so I'm well hacked off

I loved it when they were small. I didn't paint Mr Men - went for Jungle Book scenes. Hope you both enjoy (once you start getting some sleep again!)

Rather than having kids I was advised by a friend to dig a big hole in my back garden and just put all my money in that ;-)

          Hi,
We were very lucky with the baby years, although I have never been that tired since. The only advice for your wife (and you with the latter) is drink lots of water whilst feeding, get as much rest as possible and enjoy. Also the housework can wait

It was the toddler years that were hell and the teenage years to come

I hope it all goes well. Looking forward to photos.

            Hard work isnt it Stu!

Ours is due on August the 5th, I too have been doing the same, and I am pretty much there now!

Completely redecorated the babes room, new carpet laid, cupboard bought and built, shelves up, cot up, baby moses/swinging thingy bought and up....phew!

I look forward to seeing the pictures, and best of luck!

All the best to both you expectant dads!

It's a great time when they are babies and toddlers. We had our nearly 3 year old Grandson last Sunday and he certainly gave us the run around.

Here he is at Rufford Abbey and Park about 10 miles from Worksop.
