If I remember well that name of this creature was "Ginger" in that movie.

Yes, he is featured in Shrek. Like most of the Shrek characters, Ginger (a ginger bread man) is a traditional character from children's bedtime and folk stories - mainly originating in western Europe. Ginger bread men have been baked for hundreds of years and are very yummy!
