LOL @ "plank". I'm not a Coulthard fan either

Had an experienced F1 driver pulled off that move on Alonso in the first corner of the first race of a season (with absolutely everything to lose), I'd have considered it great. However what really impressed me was that it was a very risky manoevre, requiring a great deal of control and maturity..........and the driver executing it was a rookie in his very first race!

We may have to fight about this one when we next meet up, but that move was great. Superb, in fact

Fair play to Coulthard for having a go I say! I also noticed that he was big enough to admit to it being his fault as well. Sometimes you need to take some risks...it makes for a more exciting race as well.

Lewis was awesome, and I am in two minds as to whether the fact Alonso ended up in front for the last 15 laps was engineered by Maclaren.

It was a race definately worth staying up for! (although, the family wasnt impressed the next day when I was almost falling asleep in the resturant for a meal out!)

Did you not watch it live then Peter, I would have thought you of all people would have done! Especially to watch Raikanan (yes I cant spell his name!) step into your heros shoes!

No I will admit I did not watch it till yesterday afternoon. I made sure I did not hear any news or anything like that so to me it was as if it was live. Also to me it felt like something was missing even when the Ferrari came home first it just was not the same to me. I hope that will pass. Just waiting for the new Ferrari gear to come out and hope that will help move things on for me .
