The last bit made me smile nothing new there then. He always was good at taking people out .
Chip Gnassi and Felix Sabates, co-owners of the team Montoya drives for, expressed differently the same point of view -- they were exceedingly unhappy with Montoya's over-aggression, particularly since they had multiple times discussed this kind of situation with both drivers.
As best I can tell, the person most upset was Juan Pablo's crew chief, who was almost in tears after Mr. Gnassi spoke strongly to him after the incident. Probably Montoya is the only one who doesn't care. At least, he passed it off as just a "racing incident". "It's all just one of those racing things." He may end up with retribution from his own team as well as the other good ole boys of NASCAR. They've seen drivers like him come, and go pretty quickly out of their game. And it IS NASCAR's game, just like F1 is Bernie's. Mr. Montoya better learn about making friends! and quickly!
