Same here. Getting this message: ImageMagick exec error found. sh: /usr/local//bin/identify: no such file or directory
If you're not living on the edge you're taking up too much room.

That's what I get. I was trying to upload a stitched panorama image and thought it was me. Tried saving it in different file types then realised it was the form.

Take a look at this thread on E System user.

Tried multiple times this morning but I cant upload images. I get a pop up saying: ImageMagick exec error found: sh: /usr/local/bin/identify: no such file or directory. I dont know what ImageMagick is I guess its on the site server somewhere. Any one else seen this.

So hopefully, when the problem is corrected there. It should be easy enough to correct here.

Thanks for the link, Andy. I didn't spot that.

Hi everyone - very sorry about this!

I have been corresponding with the server company all day to try and fix this. It seems to me to be a simple problem but they say it isn't and are dragging their heels a bit.

The problem affects all the site on the server I'm afraid

I will post an update as soon as I have some news.

Thanks for your patience and understanding!

                Ian

PS Thank you Garry for holding the fort here!

Just got around this problem by using a image host site and copying directly into the text area.

                    Have now deleted my post

The problem is now fixed. Sorry for the inconvenience, the solution eluded several tech support personnel which is why it took a long time.

I would advise against using externally hosted images if at all possible as it means some forum mechanisms for redisplaying these images won't work with such images.
