After an hour of downloading Windows 10 64 bit drivers for a 14 year old slide scanner, I go it to work. The quality isn't that much better. Here's a sample. A friend made a cake commemorating my 2000th skydive and my wife's (at the time) 1000th. We were awarded the US Parachute Association's Diamond and Gold Wings respectively. The presentation was done by Richard Bach, author of Jonathan Livingston Seagull. Sadly, the film processor lost the roll of film of the presentation.

1000th and 2000th sky dive ? Do you get bored watching tv, or something ?

That is quite an achievement for both of you.

    Great cake !

Due to the Coronavirus restrictions I have caught up with some work which has helped reduce some from the list of to do jobs.
Anne is always working away doing this and that and I managed to catch her unawares whilst practising with the Mavic Mini drone.

Good image. Used to see various Shield bugs, when we had a trampoline up. They seem to be attracted to the netting.

I'm impressed with the image quality from the drone. I've started looking at reviews of the Mavic Mini and I'm tempted. Do you recommend it?

              Hi Pat -

This is a tough one to answer as I have not flown it often enough due to weather (it doesn't like rain) and the Coronavirus shut down here.
It is a small drone but it does take very good pictures and video. Its worth looking at the many videos on YouTube and the DJi site.
It gets quite upset if you fly it in winds above say 6/7mph it is liable to crash.
For the price it is good value IMHO and I know the sales of this machine have been high and still growing, this is due to its light weight and not needing a licence,
this may change this summer as the the various authorities are proposing a change in the rules as the drone has a camera.

I said earlier you must do your own research before showing your card at the emporium.

I like it very much and am looking forward to flying her again when the world rids of this ghastly pandemic.

              Kindest

Impressive. That's a good camera on the drone.
Ann looks to be fully engrossed in the lappy.

                  Thanks Garry -

As with most cameras they enjoy the light.

Here is a short video in such conditions.

That's amazingly stable. I'm ordering one with the extra battery pack. The reviews are great. Thanks for the idea!

I'm looking forward to taking it to the top of Okemo Mountain this summer to video the ski area in the off season.

I am not bored yet as I'm hopeful a cure will be found for Corona virus - except at my age I'm down a long way on the list.
The lock down has given me the time to explore the cameras and the settings contained inside.

Penny and I walked the golf course a few days ago and I took a shot from the 8th tee looking at the mountain. At home I matched it up with shots taken in winter and Fall from the same location and put them into a short transition clip. Now I just need to add summer. Apologies if I posted this already.

Depending on our country and our condition, we may or may not be limited when it comes to going outside. Some country still allows to go out, so it’s a good opportunity to go for a walk and take some street or architecture photos. If you live near a river or forest, you can spend some time in nature with your camera. Of course, avoid public transport, wash your hands, and don’t touch your face. I believe we all know this by now.
