One of the key design features is to keep kids away from the fire, I feel there may be something you have over looked

As for the rest of your comments, I'm inclined to agree. However, I've an idea for the use of such a camera (NO Screen) so just wanted to know if there was any "user" experience out there

With the regularity that manufacturers entice us to upgrade I thought that pretty much all cameras were disposable these days!

            Aye well mine aren't.

I intend hanging onto what I have and won't be drawn into any more of the 'must have' and sales promotion babble.

I know exactly what you mean but I can recommend the three below. There's a choice of weight for the first and third but the easy carve boneless lamb leg is set at 600g.

If there's just the two of us we still have a joint - it just lasts longer and we each get to have more of it. The two of us polished off one of those 600g boneless legs over Monday and Tuesday this week.

SanDisk used to have a single use memory card range and this made a little more sense. The idea was that these cards would be the permanent and relatively reliable store for your original photos. The cards were cheaper than conventional cards, but not really by enough and I doubt that they sold well.

I thought a disposable camera was the one you didn't mind getting smashed or stolen in high risk situations.

                            Never seen those...

Funny how often photographer's passions include food

Every so often we have a competition that uses disposable film cameras ("Level Playing Field" etc...) Which when P&P is included is not that much less than these things. Of course you only have what comes out the camera, so with a digital version of the competition, post processing can be included to see exactly what can be done with FREE software (Faststone, Picassa, Gimp, etc.,) and the most basic kit.
