    Like it or hate .....
Amazing Christmas display with 176 channels and 45,000 lights! The show is so popular that it requires a crew of 3 people to manage the traffic.

The second half is something else but you need sound to appreciate it.

Good grief - definitely OTT (mind you, I think the white lights on the tree over the road are OTT - it lights up my bedroom through the curtains) but it's very well done..

I love it, though I wouldn't like to be living too close to them.

I'm not too sure I'd want to pay their leccy bill either.

It certainly wasn't co-ordinated by any d.i.y enthusiast.

Good job they didn't use Apocalypse Now

I enjoyed it. Well it's Christmas innit?

After watching I saw an image of meerkats and thought I would have a look (my grandson loves meerkats.) So I played the video. It wasn't meerkats, but I thought it was definitely worth a look.

'What A Wonderful World' by David Attenborough. Breathtaking wildlife footage pulled from the filmmaker”™s vast collection, made even more poignant when paired with Louis Armstrong”™s timeless lyrics.

Apocalypse Now? What about Ride of the Valkyries??

And did anyone see the programme tonight about the various people in the UK who like to decorate their houses, and the competition between the two pairs in the west country? Very funny, as my partner's comprehension of accents seems to very weak once you get past Reading! There was a fair bit of translation of the Brizzle accents necessary...

And Audrey - thank you for sharing that, absolutely lovely - although I then went over to youtube proper so I could share it. Unfortunately the first link I clicked was the activists' reply, not so nice to watch.

Thanks for that, Audrey. It's superb!

I had seen this clip very recently but it was even better second time round.
I usually save this sort of thing for a while but this one slipped through so thanks Audrey.

Yes Pops, you are right, when Pol said she'd seen it and this made me look again - you are right, it is good second time around.

Strangely enough I took a ride out to a nearby location that has featured some real ott light display in previous years.
The cutbacks have obviously bitten hard because there was nothing worth photographing this year.
