It's a bit like that at Covent Garden where there are some cafes and you can be surprised by musicians and opera singers while you're enjoying your espresso; sometimes you'll be targeted and be serenaded, which can be ever so embarrassing

David's the sort who'd get embarrassed if something like that happened. I would be thrilled and would be more likely to join in and sing - then David would definitely disown me.

I've seen some rather attractive opera singers sitting on the laps of some poor unsuspecting beggars during a surprise performance - now that would be highly stressful for me

Thanks for the link Pol. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I used to sing the Hallelujah Chorus when I was in the church choir when I was about 13!
