Mansell is out after 4 laps. Tyre blow out at 200 odd mph huge tyre marks on track. Looks like he hit both sides of the armco, car still in one piece so not a heavy hit. but looks like he damaged his leg. Bit of bad luck. The have been lots of problems so far this week with tyres blowing out. Four this morning in a support race alone, plus lots in practice. Looks like the gravel they use in the traps is not as rounded as at others tracks so cut into the tyres more............................................My PhotoBlog

I'm watching it on SpeedTV here in Canada.
Never been to the 24 hour car race although I'd like to at some point. I've photographed and worked as a pit crew member in the 24 hour bike race which just uses the regular Le Mans circuit.Light thinks it travels faster than anything but it is wrong. No matter how fast light travels, it finds the darkness has always got there first, and is waiting for it. Terry Pratchett.Comment
