Who would have thought that Jenson would have out-qualified Lewis 3:1 after the first four races, and be ahead on points, with a win, prior to the Chinese race tomorrow?

Erm well he is world champ! Last season was the first time he has had a decent team and car to race with even if it was a last minute mash up, they obviously got the chemistry right with ross and all that, and hey what happened, he wooped em fair n square!
Ok lewis is the great boy racing kart superhero, but who won last season?

Dont forget lewis has never raced for a crap under budget team, he has always had the best that money can buy behind him since he started in f1.

Don't really understand why your so shocked Jenson is doing well!

And no Im not biased to either driver, Im thrilled to bitts that 2 brittish drivers are top dogs, although it looks like this is vettel's year, he is hungry, fearless and german, I may put money on that.

I'm a big Jenson fan but I'm surprised.

I've no doubt that Jenson has the talent to do it, but the idea of moving to a team that was so integrated with Lewis just seemed like F1 suicide. Alonso couldn't stick it, Heikki was always on the back foot, and the chances of Jense being anything other than "number 2" seemed hugely unlikely.

But I admit to being proved wrong. It does seem that Jense and Lewis are working well together. There doesn't seem to be the friction there that we saw between Lewis and Alonso.

I think it helps that (i) they are both world champs now, so neither need to "prove" themselves, and (ii) Lewis did a lot of growing up last year when his car wasn't up to scratch.

I love it that Jense has now won twice and is out-qualifying and out-racing his teammate, but I have an increasing respect for Lewis (something I never had before) since his fight back last year and what seems to be his respect for Jense.

Button is increasingly showing that he has his head screwed on right both with his career move, the team he's chosen, and racing strategy.

It's going to be a good year, and I don't mind who wins - I'm rooting for all the top drivers, with just a tiny bit of bias towards Jense!

Im looking forward to this weekend's race, at this point it seems there is alot of different channels the championship could go on the outcome of it, Im still rooting for Jenson, with a second fav of Lewis, and there's a naughty part of me that would like shuey to do well I always hated that he always won in his hayday, but I do admire his excellence! Ok he's not doing so well at the moment but I think he is just hungry for the sport and its in his blood to race, win or not.
He also quite notibly has accepted that he is not the current best anymore and has nothing to prove, or can he still give the young guns a run! God knows what his trophy room looks like
Any thoughts anyone?
