Should be good for sunsets and sunrise. Good for aircraft vapor trail free images (for the next day)

Re: Volcanic ash cloud
Indeed - and interestingly although I'd expect some interesting sunset colours, it makes little difference to the sky blue in day time (apart from the absence of trails as you say).
I do feel very sorry for all the travellers who have been affected though!

I agree. Some have to travel by that mode.Originally posted by Ian View PostIndeed - and interestingly although I'd expect some interesting sunset colours, it makes little difference to the sky blue in day time (apart from the absence of trails as you say).

I hope we are not affected health wise by the dust.
An interesting subject by the way.

Re: Volcanic ash cloud
Can't say I noticed a special sunset yesterday evening. I was up at 7:30AM today but missed sunrise!

Re: Volcanic ash cloud
I was hoping for a spectacular sunset last night - it was beautiful as I drove home, but by the time sunset had come round the clouds had gathered and no sun was visible...Originally posted by Ian View PostCan't say I noticed a special sunset yesterday evening.
