UNSOLVED Issue uploading photos :(

Hi All,

Has anyone ever experienced an issue when uploading photos?

The problem is not exclusive to dpnow.

Having clicked 'browse' in order to navigate to the desired folder, nothing appears in the right hand screen to select.

Any ideas, I am at a loss!

The problem also seems to be intermittent.

I shall be carrying out a full scan of the pc this evening to remove any possible spyware etc.

Any pointers would be gratefully received

Ben I really have little idea, so I'm clutching at straws. However in the past I've had all sorts of anomalies occur if the machine has been put to sleep rather than shut down over a prolonged period. Of course if you always shut down it eliminates that possible theory

Yep, never put the machine to sleep Stephen.
In fact, have tried rebooting as well, which works sometimes....but not others. Sometimes, I can even retry to upload and it works (hence the couple of additions recently)

Could this be an IE8 problem, Ben? Does the experience you describe coincide with upgrading to IE8? I am noticing problems withe IE8, like posting a comment to a DPNow blog - most of the time when you press send, the comment disappears without trace. Never happens on FireFox.

doesnt seem to be Ian, as this was also happening with Chrome.

By the way, have you seen Google are releasing an operating system called Chrome OS?

Just as an addition to this thread, a friend of mine installed IE8 and then found he could not get on Ebay properly. The only solution was to uninstall it and revert to IE7. He has no problems now
