I downloaded Firefox 3 when it became available, and have had stability problems, it crashes regularly. I use Visa Home Premuim. The previous version was not a problem.
I haven't had any issues with it Patrick and I have Vista HP too. Something weird and wonderful that I do have trouble with (since getting new PC with Vista) is that if I try and open an attachment by double-clicking (no matter what it is) it tries to open it in FF and then says do I want to install FF?? I generally have to save to desktop and then open it. Had this problem with FF 2 also.

There is a new upgrade FireFox 3.01 just downloaded and installed interesting to see if stability has improved, it certainly opened quicker.
May deal with your little headache as well.
I have been trying to remove the Yahoo tool bar for some time but failed, this version 3.01 is not compatible with the Yahoo bar so hurray its gone. It is now giving me that little bit more space on the laptop screen.
