Help! My new card is giving me grief

I have just purchased a 2gig card for my Panasonic FZ20. Main reason for this was to enable me to capture more Tiff files. My other smaller cards only let me capture 32 shots. Now here's where it all goes wrong. The images are all saved as both Tiff and Jpeg. On my new card the Tiff images are corrupted but the Jpegs are OK. I have uploaded two samples. As this only happens with the New Card I suspected either a faulty card or a miss match with my camera. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Ian. I forgot to mention that the card is a ByteStor 2gb 80x.

Just clutching straws. Did you format it in your camera before you used it?

Thanks Autumn. Yes I did that and the camera seems to function with the new card OK. Review works but this may be only showing the Jpeg version. May not be down to the camera at all. May even be my card reader. Who knows? I will have to try installing the camera software and try the USB route.

Are you deleting photos from your card? Reformating the card may help if the files on the card are corrupt. I always reformat in the camera after down loading to my computer.
