141% Problem

Is it just me or is there a problem with the "Brother" adds slowing down or even stoping the loading of the pages on this site.

I have no problem what so ever when the other adds are present but as soon as the 141% starts counting up the page will not load or is very slow to do so. If the add stops at 100% it seems fine, but not when it runs straight throught to 141%.

I got the same thing Graham.
I have been hitting F5 and that get the page I'm waiting for to come up straightaway.
To be honest I didn't associate the problem with the ad until you pointed it out. I thought it was at my end.

I've tested my theory quite extensively and while I originally thought it was only on my 10 year old xp laptop and IE8, I have had it happen on my desktop now as well...

I normally view DPN using Firefox and AdblockPlus, which ensures the pages load fast. I've just tried IE and got the same problem as you with the Brother ad, so you can assume that the problem is not at your end.

Several of these adverts freeze page-loading on my iPad. I'm going to have start using a browser that can block the adverts just so I can browse the forum. Very annoying.
