UNSOLVED Error! Mistake....heeeelp!

OK, so a schoolboy error has been made naming no names.......(the wife!)
The memory card has been deleted from our pointy shooty, all the pics have been downloaded, but all the videos werent, and now the card has been formatted! in the words of Mr H Simpson....DOH!

Anyone know of a good free data recovery program?

It isnt the end of the world, and not really worth chucking any money at, but there were a couple of vids of Elise playing in her pool which would have been nice to keep.

Autumn has just sent me a PM offering me a copy of a Digtal Recovery program that she has, as I had put a posting on the forum for help as I thought I had done the same thing as you. Fortunately as it turned out I had not deleted the pictures after all. I would send Autumn a PM asking for her help.

I did have a some sandisk software on a little 3 inch disc that came with a memory card, ive just looked everywhere for it, if I find it Ill let you no.

I'm not sure that it works if your card has been formatted, but it works if the pics have been deleted.

Quick format normally just erases the table of contents, leaving the files intact. A full format resets all the sectors - no way back from that!
