Well i bought into this on the launch day, had to leave the Nikon DSLRs as they were just too heavy to enjoy, had a spell with m4/3 which i liked but i wanted to get back to my first love.
IMO the camera is amazing especially for Nikon's first venture into Z mount DX, a few things do lag behind others like the AFC, its good but no match for the Olympus EM1MK11 since the firmware update, not tried the tracking as i have not had the opportunity, but as photographers, we do need a challenge 😉.
I got the twin lens kit although i am a long lens person from what others have said the 16-50mm is spot on, the 50-250 is very sharp, they are made to a price with plastic mounts but even the 50-250 is so light that shouldn't be a problem.
No IBIS but VR in the lens which i used with my EM1MK11 and Panny 100-400 so i don't miss it.
Also I bought the FTZ adapter so can choose from a vast array of F mount lenses with no loss of IQ or features, already i have the Sigma 100-400 for the days i feel up to it and the Sigma 105mm macro.
One bonus i found was the sensor quality because i need high shutter speeds even with VR i use auto iso from the lowest to the max, my thoughts are if thats what i need to get the image i will take it, see if i can sort it later.
Some high ISO samples

If you were printing or cropping ok they would be no good but this is all i do with my images
