Grim weather focuses the mind on what to photograph indoors so I thought I would investigate further the macro capabilities of the 4/3rds fit Lensbaby Scout Fisheye optic on one or two familiar objects with the E-M5/MMF3. Being a 12mm lens with a closest focusing distance of 0.5cm and an inherent excellent DoF the only problem was going to be lighting but as the lens is physically quite short is was possible that the FL50R (I don't have a 600R) with diffuser and bounce attachment would do the job. Well it certainly seemed to work reasonably well so here is the stalk of what appears on casual inspection as a fairly fresh Granny Smith apple, which turned out to have a healthy fungal growth:
