Three out-of-camera jpegs from my new Fuji kit. No post-processing involved.

The first two were taken with the X-T1, the third with the X-E1.

So far, so good! I like the colours, Fuji appear to have modelled their in-camera processing on their Velvia film.

Thanks John. These were shot using the camera's Velvia preset, so it works! I love that setting!

Just for further information, Fuji and Adobe have co-operated, and raw files from the X series can have the film profiles applied in pp. However, my initial trials seem to suggest that the in-camera jpegs are slightly nicer without applying further correction.

My first impression was Velvia colours. I like the idea of a Velvia preset. What about Kodachrome and Agfachrome presets.

They are bringing out a Kodachrome equivalent next month, but of course they can't call it that....

They also do Astia, Provia, a couple of other colour ones, and 4 monochrome. Of course, you could achieve all these in pp, but certainly they do Velvia better than Efex Pro.

I suspect the Kodachrome preset will be fairly popular. There's probably not many people wanting an Agfachrome preset. I didn't appreciate its subtle colour palette until everyone wanted smack you in the eyeballs colour.
