Canon 1DsM3 - to be launched by one day earlier than Nikon D3

Canon announced that the launch date of EOS-1Ds Mark III in Japan is Nov.29th. (Previously they implied around the end of Nov. So no delay at all. )

What I find interesting is that Canon chose one day before the Nikon D3's launch date in Japan (Nov. 30th). Incidentally, Nov.23rd for D300.

I talked with a sales staff at nearby elec. shop, he said he would expect a lower price for Canon 40D after the launch of D300. This shop sells it however at much more expensive than large camera shops in Tokyo. I go there today just for having a look of demo cameras. Today Sony A700.

Hi Pops, yeah indeed. - I'm just collecting catalogues only for those new models.
Sometimes I feel happy that my major genre is landscape. IMHO no need to have a most advanced model, though there could always be exceptions. Tripod is more important. - but but BUT... out of my recent collections
