  • Dual battery charger - anyone tried this model?

As my 350D's grip (and the 40D grip I'm about to order) use 2 batteries, I've always had to wait for batteries to be charged one at a time in the charger that came with the camera.

I've just come across this device and I wondered if anyone uses one? I particularly like the fact that it also works in the car.

Hi Stuart, are you looking for things to spend yer money on

I've never had one of these devices, however I do have one for the BP511 batteries, that works in the car. I've never used it.

Now I may be wrong here, but when I had a 20D and used 2 batteries, I always thought that the camera did not use both batteries at the same time. When it started to show low battery life left, I could swap them over and it would show full again. This would allow me to charge one up whilst using the other.. Kinda defeats the object of having a dual battery charger to me

      Yeah, know what you mean.

I've got 2 x Canon batteries and 2 clones for the 40D. Reckon it would be a pretty heavy shoot to go through the lot and be stuck in the middle of nowhere desperate for a car charger

I'm stuck at home ill today (whole family down with some sort of virus - the wife's off as well so I know it's bad!) and I'm bored so I'm flicking through web sites spending (small amounts) of money unnecessarily - better stop I guess.

I'm working on an interesting project at work so I got my laptop out to get on with that - until my battery ran out and I found that both my mains and car chargers for it are back at the office . I guess that's what started me thinking about battery chargers....

Think I'll go and lay on the couch and sleep - it'll be cheaper
