My neighbour has been experimenting with a Fujifilm FinePix S2 and has found that he gets over-light highlights in portraits taken outdoors during overcast conditions. In the same conditions when shooting with film, his highlights are normal.
Er, is this a photographic related technique sorta thing or an equipment related thing kinda question
Perhaps we should see an example of the problem he is having.
Cards on the table, I know nowt about the characteristics of S2's , though I can imagine that what you describe is not unreasonable in certain conditions
