I've just seen a reference to using a "Gorillatorch" as a lighting accessory for macro work. Made by Joby, the Gorillapod people, it can be used with it's legs wrapped around the lens barrel and has it's own power supply. My question is: The ends of the legs have magnetic pads which may work fine attached to the underside of a car bonnet but does any body know how this would affect camera/lens/memory card?
