You can trigger your cameras by sending a sound signal to a TriggerTrap Dongle in the same way as if it was connected to a Smart Phone.
By recording and analysing the sound that comes out of the iPhone using the TriggerTrap App, I determined that a short 19kHz sound on the Right Channel sets the focus and on the Left Channel fires the shutter.
Knowing this, it's now just a matter of putting a system together to make the sounds as and when I want the camera to operate...
