How about this? - an f/1.4 lens (24-79mm equivalent) in a high end compact camera? That's what the new [URL="http://dpnow.com/8755.html"]Samsung EX2F[/URL] has to offer and it also has a fully articulating screen and wifi connectivity. It also has a lens barrel settings adjustment ring which is great news for fans of old-style camera controls.

This could be the compact camera of the year and yet Samsung announced it with a minimum of fanfare. It will certainly give Canon G-series, Olympus XZ-1 and Panasonic Lumix LX5 users something to think about.
